The skill Laboratory is a specialized unit of activity for developing the personality of student. The transformation of a student into a successful professional requires training in soft skills such as decision-making, communicating, self-organizing, team building, conflict resolution and leading. It is essential that the student develop the right type of attitude necessary to work in groups in adverse cultures and environment. Under skill laboratory, the following methods and techniques have been employed for improving the individual performance and personal productivity.

Transforming ideas into economic opportunities is the crux of entrepreneurship. The role of entrepreneurship and an entrepreneurial culture in economic and social development has often been underestimated. Over the years, however, it has become increasingly apparent that entrepreneurship does indeed contribute to economic development. Entrepreneurs produce solutions that fly in the face of established knowledge, and they always challenge the status quo. They are risk-takers who pursue opportunities that others may fail to recognize or may even view as problems or threats. Whatever the definition of entrepreneurship, it is closely associated with change, creativity, knowledge, innovation and flexibility-factors that are increasingly important sources of competitiveness in an increasingly globalized world economy. Thus, fostering entrepreneurship means promoting the competitiveness of businesses. Entrepreneurship development is the key factor to fight against unemployment. We at IMED therefore not only make the future managers but, also sow the seeds for generating future entrepreneurs.

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
IQAC has been created to assess consistent implementation of the quality standards. The groups of staff have been formed for the purpose. IQAC has given due emphasis for facilitating self-analysis and for enhancing evaluation of the quality system of the institute and specific departments.
The Administration Manual outlines the job, duties, responsibilities of each employee which adheres to a minimum acceptable standards. It also gives a description of processes involved in conduct of various activities in the institute.
